Heavy Duty Compact Module - Size 280
Our compact module family is growing. The new size 280 not only achieves 56 % more payload performance in the smallest of spaces than the previous largest version, the CKK/CKR-200, but also opens up completely new applications in the heavy load range up to 385 kg per carriage. Applications include the high-precision assembly of machine tools as well as for handling even the heaviest wooden panels in furniture production or for dynamic and repeatable high-performance assembly of battery modules. Across distances of up to 5.5 meters, even the heaviest loads can now be moved with an acceleration of up to 5 g. Perfect for the shortest cycle times. The new compact modules with ball screw drive (CKK) or belt drive (CKR) are not only extremely rigid in terms of longitudinal and torsional moments, but are also extremely flexible in use: engineering of single axes, multi-axis systems and even linear robots is reduced to a minimum. With the dual belt drive, you can operate two carriages completely independently and with precision. This not only saves space, costs and assembly time, but also guarantees optimal performance. It can achieve dynamic positioning of the heaviest loads independently in each drive chain, with a drive torque of up to 250 Nm, accelerations of up to 5g, and with a repeatability of ± 0.05 mm. This has the potential to rapidly decrease cycle times across all industries, whether in battery manufacturing or the loading of machine tools. Even as a seventh axis for cobots, the linear axis with dual belt drive takes manufacturing processes to a new level.
