VDMA Battery Production – Powerful solutions for a rising industry
VDMA Battery Production is an integral part of the German Engineering Federation VDMA – one of the largest industry associations in Europe. The members of VDMA Battery Production represent the entire process chain from raw materials conditioning, electrode and cell production up to module and battery pack solutions. They offer the full range of production equipment, machinery components, automation solutions, test equipment and software necessary to build state-of-the-art battery factories. Our association services range from market and technology information, networking and consultation all the way to global support and advocacy for our members.

The German Engineering Federation VDMA is one of the key association service providers in Europe and offers the largest engineering industry network in Europe. It was established in 1892 and represents today more than 3,100 mainly small/medium size member companies. With 1,011,000 employees in Germany and an annual turnover of 212 billion Euros in 2014 mechanical engineering is one of the biggest employers and one of the leading industry sectors in Germany as a whole.
